Thanks to a unique three-step chemical and thermal activation process, MICRON 1 becomes the only fully bio-resistant filter media, preventing bacterial growth and biofilm formation in your filter. This advanced technology stops unfiltered water from passing through, prevents pathogens from entering your pool, and eliminates harmful chlorine smell (trichloramines). It also ensures efficient and consistent filtration, giving MICRON 1 a much longer lifespan than any other filter media.

Thanks to its activation process, the surface of MICRON 1 is significantly increased and becomes hydrophobic, enabling it to capture ultra-fine particles as small as 1 micron (Filtration certified by the independent laboratory IFTS).
