Does this replace the need for adding chlorine daily?
No, the Daily Dose does not replace the need for chlorine. You should always maintain a sanitizer level of 1–3 ppm of chlorine at all times. What the Daily Dose and Pure Packs system does is help your chlorine work more efficiently. By keeping your water crystal clear, reducing buildup on your filter, and removing many of the contaminants that normally deplete chlorine, your sanitizer lasts longer and you’ll likely need to add less chlorine over time.
